"Planet Ocean" is the name of the famous mural that covers the entire 116,000-square-foot surface of the Long Beach Arena. The mural depicts life-size whales and other marine life. Its production required more than 3,000 gallons of paint – making it the world’s largest mural. Internationally renowned environmental artist, Wyland, painted it in the early 1990’s.
