Good Corn Makes Good Hogs

Franklin County Kansas is home to famed Exaggerated Postcard designer William H. "Dad" Martin (1865 - 1940).

The Historical Society features his work on a few of their promotional postcards, as well as some of his work at the Franklin County Historical Society.

'Dad' Martin "...here imagines farmers using a gas engine-powered saw to cut down the ears to a workable size.  How many such ears of corn have gone into the production of that hog?"
